Flower Wedding Invitations

This wedding card invitation design is brilliant if you love card making. Whilst it will take you a bit of time to make these cards, the end result really does make it worth while. The paper flowers give the card a real luxurious 3D look.

The tools and materials used are for these cards are:

  1. A6 white & A6 cream card blanks
  2. Pearlised white / cream / ivory card
  3. Woodware super craft punch – scalloped square
  4. 3 paper flowers per card
  5. Wedding Invitation peel off stickers
  6. Ribbon bows
  7. Sticky foam pads and strong craft glue

Tips:

  1. Wrap a small amount of sticky tape around the stems of the flowers, then you will be able to stick them to the card easier and arrange them how you like.
  2. These pictures are examples, you can use any type of flowers of the colour of your choice, just match them with a co-ordinating ribbon bow.
  3. You can substitute the coloured ribbon bow for a silver or gold ribbon bow to match the colour of the peel off.

Wedding Cake Invitations

This is a great idea if you want a simple but effective wedding invitation that is quick to reproduce large numbers of the same card. Below are images of several cards on the same theme but with different colour schemes.

The materials used are for these cards are:

  1. A6 white & A6 cream card blanks
  2. Mulberry tissue paper cut into squares (colour to suit wedding colour scheme)
  3. Luxury wedding cakes with beads
  4. Wedding invitation banners
  5. Sticky foam pads and craft glue or double sided sticky tape

Tips:

  1. Place a small amount of glue or double sided sticky tape in the centre of the mulberry tissue paper square, this will then be covered by the cake embellishment.
  2. Instead of a banner, you could also use ‘Wedding Invitation’ peel off wording either directly onto the card blank or raised up on a rectangle of pearlised white or ivory card to match the card blank colour.
  3. You can make your own pearlised card blanks by using pearlised white or ivory card. Cut an A4 sheet in half and fold each half into an A6 card blank using a Groovy Box Maker & Card Maker board.
